Only a suggestion,but having watched the distressing film on London Tonight of top TFL engineers crawling about inside Hammersmith Flyover and pointing at rusty cables and the like accompanied by that deep inhalation of breath that tells you that fixing our iconic road will take more than a couple of weeks ;I have an idea .Bearing in mind the location of the Campaign offices would it be possible for Claire Beale and her colleagues to afford us a daily update on the progress of it’s repair ? Not expecting Claire to go inside or anything but a Darby roadside report would be perfect.Not too much detail but enough to help out the likes of Hammersley and Lindsay who regularly grace the road .
